The City of Angels experienced citywide festivities after the Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe joined Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a franchise has secured consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Crowds
Los Angeles area celebrations included a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Online footage depict countless of Angelenos packing city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
