Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Takes On Singer Olly Murs in Top Flight Forecasts
The Gunners' 10-game victorious run came to an end by Sunderland before the international break, however will the English top division frontrunners bounce back against north London rivals Tottenham this Sunday?
"{I believe like Arsenal are light years ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," stated football expert Chris Sutton.
"The Spurs manager will try to neutralize Arsenal, who have not always been at their sparkling finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."
Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this term, versus artificial intelligence, readers and a variety of guests.
In the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a Manchester United fan.
Murs' latest album, Knees Up, is available on the weekend.
Football and Parenting Experiences
Olly is a talented footballer as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of multiple Soccer Aid matches over time - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a footballer.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "The team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they went on to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!
"I continue to love football, but I injured my knee a few years ago and it still isn't where I want it to be. I hope I could play more but the uncertainty of the game means it's too risky for me in my career to do it properly again.
"Additionally I am forty-one now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am gearing up for the moment that my daughter or son decides to play instead."
Murs and his spouse his partner have a young family, their daughter and Albert, and he is ready to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I will not force football on our children but I've previously told Amelia that if they happen to get the bug for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their Saturday football team," he added.
"I watched my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously was involved with a soccer team for a period too.
"My father coached with us when I was a kid, which is likely where I get it from. He coached our team for two or three seasons and had great fun with it. That could be the future for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Top Division Predictions
Weekend, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
Chelsea may have to be patient for Cole Palmer's comeback from injury but their attack is already stronger with Pedro and Liam Delap both returned to fitness.
In my opinion this game will be quite close, though. Burnley are disciplined and their sole home losses so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.
This suggests a 1-1 draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third Premier League win in a row.
The expert's forecast: 1-2
Olly's pick: The Blues will be superior. 1-3
AI's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Cherries have lost their past two games - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.
On the other hand, West Ham won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look strong again.
The Hammers' only away win this season came at Forest in August, when their boss Nuno was previously that team's manager.
Therefore, what on earth do I go with here - can West Ham continuing their streak under their manager, or Bournemouth responding?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
Olly's outlook: The home team are doing well but West Ham have picked up under Nuno. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Brentford were considered one of the frontrunners for the drop before the season started, but they have surprised a few people under their manager and are in good form with three in their past four matches.
A family member told me to get Brentford striker Igor Thiago in my Fantasy Football team a few weeks ago and, guess what, I didn't listen.
Thiago will likely score again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support Brentford at Amex Stadium.
They have not had much fortune on the road this season, and the Seagulls are consistently decent at home. Brentford will try to attack on the counter-attack but I think the home manager's team carry much more of a threat.
Sutton's forecast: 2-1
The singer's prediction: This could be a match where you think there is going to be a many goals but it in reality turns out to be quite close. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
It is a massive game for the Cottagers, who have lost five of their last six matches.
They have got lots of quality in their squad but it still seems like they could be dragged into a relegation battle.
Regarding the Black Cats, indeed they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their performance in the 2-2 tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not witnessed any other team disrupt the North London side like that this term, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice would be to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the last time they were in this part of London, they beat Chelsea at the close of last month.
However I am not going to do that. Instead, I really need to carry on opposing Sunderland with my predictions. I am claiming a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly love to prove me wrong.
Looking at the home side's home record, the sole team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Their manager's team will be absolutely eager for a positive outcome, so I am going to say they will secure three points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
The guest's choice: I know the visitors are doing well and also that Fulham are on a bad streak... but Fulham have still been respectable at Craven Cottage this season. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

It is a tough one to call. Liverpool have lost seven of their past 10 matches in all competitions, but might they be one of the sides who profit from the {international break|
