Jude Bellingham Functioned in a forward role out wide and put in the hard yards. Displayed moments of class but dragged a shot wide. Substituted towards the end for a teammate, a fellow player, after receiving a caution. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Was presented with the team's best chance of the first half, his effort smartly stopped from the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate holding position, he had to offer an outlet on the right yet his deliveries from the touchline varied in quality. Replaced for the final quarter-hour. Six

The captain The difference-maker netting two more finishes in an England shirt. His first a typical close-range tap-in and the second a superb finish with his head following a clever run off his defender. Aged 32, he’s only getting better and the side stand a real opportunity next summer when he's in the team. 8/10

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to make an impact out wide. Was presented with a presentable chance after being played in from a teammate but the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger an impact after coming on. 5/10
